When you look for a place to call home in the beautiful city of Woodinville, you are likely to notice that most of the properties on the market are single family homes. So, if you are in the market for a condo, should you just look elsewhere? Not so fast – while they may not be the most popular type of housing in the area, there are Woodinville condos to be found. With a little patience and the right real estate agent on your side, you can locate a wonderful condo to call home.
In an area with such lofty property values, purchasing a condo rather than a single-family home can be a great way to break into the market. Condos tend to carry lower price tags than standalone homes, so you might be able to buy earlier than you would otherwise. Of course, that plan only works if you are able to find the right condo for your needs, and as mentioned above, the options here are relatively limited. There are some condo units located near the Town Center, and also toward the west side of the city. With a little research and the help of an agent, you can find most of the condos that are available in Woodinville.
Of course, you aren’t considering purchasing a condo in Woodinville just so you can sit inside all day and night. A big part of the appeal of living in this area is what you can do when you leave home. With that in mind, the precise location of the condo you choose should depend in part on what you want to do – and where you want to go. Locations in the middle of Woodinville and to the north will have easy access to WA-522, which can take you north to Monroe and on to Stevens Pass. On the other hand, living at the south end of the Woodinville city limits will bring you that much closer to the rest of the Eastside.
If you have not previously spent much time in Woodinville, it will only take a quick visit to see what this city is all about. The area near the intersection of NE 175th and 131st Ave NE is a great example. Here, you will find both Wilmot Gateway Park and the Woodinville Sports Fields. Both spots offer families a great opportunity to get outside and be active during much of the year. This is just one part of Woodinville, but it is a great example of what the area has to offer.
There are many motivations for people to settle on Woodinville as their long-term home. Between the great setting, the convenient location, and the abundance of things to do, Woodinville is an attractive option to be sure. It might not be easy to find the perfect condo here, as inventory can be a bit low in many cases, but you should eventually be able to find a unit that suits you and your family just right. Good luck and have fun shopping!
