Shoreline Washington stretches from N. 205th St. in the North to N. 145th St. in the South and from the Puget Sound east across Interstate 5 bordering Lake Forest Park. Of the majority of the waterfront in Shoreline consists of tall cliffs and the rail line running north and south along the coast. Most of the waterfront homes are north of Richmond Beach Saltwater Park. There are few homes south near the Seattle golf club and these are primarily luxury homes over $2 million. Several homes may have views overlooking the water that fit high above the railroad.
Just south of the park along 17th Place Northwest is a small neighborhood of homes ranging from about $850,000 to $1.9 million. These homes are poised perfectly for a stunning view of the Puget Sound, Bainbridge Island and part of Kitsap County south of Kingston. These luxury homes are between four and six bedrooms, 3000 ft.² to 6000 ft.² and were built within the 1960s to 1980s. This is considered the Innis Arden community, however most homes do not require HOA dues.
North of the Richmond Beach Park along Richmond Beach Dr., Northwest are beautiful homes overlooking the water. these homes are priced from $650,000 to over $2 million built in the 1980s to 2000's. Most homes feature custom designs, elegant features and of course spectacular views.
Just north of this is a small bridge that takes you to a private drive of 27th Ave., Northwest. Although this is not dated it does and on both ends of the road so there's only one way in and out. There are numerous homes along this small "Peninsula" with properties ranging from $650,000 to over $3 million. The road begins in the middle and runs south to the beach and north to a gated home at the end on the cliff. Every home has a spectacular view of the water in the mountains.
As you head north along Richmond Beach Road, the Avenue winds back and forth toward the water and away from the water but most of the homes do have water views. A little north is a more industrial area to the views might not be as calm and as spectacular as the homes south of this area. From here, residents travel right into the small town of Woodway.
