Bridle Trails is a community within the city of Bellevue encompassing several smaller neighborhoods in residential streets from NE. 60th St., South to Highway 520 and from Interstate 4052 148th Ave. NE. Three-quarters of the community are residential while the Northwest quadrant is the Bridle Trails State Park.
This is the only neighborhood offers a 482-acre park as well as homes on 1/2 to 1 acre lots or more just five minutes from downtown and about 20 minutes to downtown Seattle. The park is not just for equestrian lovers but pedestrians alike with over 28 miles of walking and riding trails as well as parks and pastures. This unique and thriving neighborhood is one-of-a-kind.
Properties within Bridle Trails range in price from about $600,000-$5 million. Some offer equestrian land while others simply residential property parcel. The Bellevue golf course is also located within Bridle Trails and provides easy access to surrounding freeways and highways.
The state park features 28 miles of forested trails between Bellevue and Kirkland. It has been and equestrian recreation area since the 1950s and is popular with hikers, trail runners, dog walkers, and of course horseback riders. There are three main loop trails: the mile-long Raven Trail, the interpretive Trillium Trail, and the Coyote Trail. The peaceful ambiance that Bridle Trails provides is unlike anything in the Seattle or Eastside area. Properties offer horse grazing meadows, stables, and barns. It's been under state ownership since the 1880s and is been a popular place for horseback riding and writing enthusiasts. Most of Bridle Trails was annexed into the city of Bellevue in 1967. It also incorporates for other parks and the North Bellevue community senior center and the Bellevue municipal golf course. It's home to the Cherry Crest elementary school as well, one of the best in the area.
