Greenwood is a small community in Seattle Washington just north of Phinney Ridge between Crown Hill and Licton Springs just north of Green Lake. It starts in N. 75th St. and runs to N. 105th St. between 8th Ave., Northwest and Aurora Ave., North or Highway 99. This community is awarded one of the top 50 best neighborhoods to live in Seattle. It has excellent public schools, housing options, nightlife, and is great for families according to niche.com. Greenwood is known for its numerous restaurants, coffee houses, specialty stores, antique markets, car shows, and the annual Greenwood Seafair Parade held on the fourth Wednesday in July. Not only do residents love this community but it these events draw tens of thousands of visitors to the neighborhood every year.
Greenwood is served by the Seattle Public school district and includes a couple of elementary schools, a Catholic school, and several high schools in the North Cluster are close by such as the Nathan Hale, Roosevelt, Ingraham, and Ballard high school.
The stretch of Greenwood from about 80th St. and 90th St. has a strip of restaurants, bars, and shops with iconic places such as Naked City Brewing and the Yard.
