When you first start to look at the Sammamish real estate market, you are sure to see a lot of single family homes. Most of what is available in Sammamish is single family homes, so it can be a bit discouraging for someone who prefers another type of housing. Should you just give up if you were hoping to find a Sammamish condo instead? Of course not! There are options available in this market for condo living, you just may need to look a little more carefully. Also, working with an experienced real estate agent is a great way to track down the perfect Sammamish condo for you and your family.
As mentioned in the previous paragraph, most of the inventory in Sammamish is made up of single family homes. If you are going to find a condo unit, it is likely to be located somewhere near the intersection of 228th Ave NE and NE 8th Ave. This is near the location of Eastlake High School, and there are a variety of dining and shopping options in the area. It’s hard to find much wrong with living in this spot, as it is in the heart of Sammamish and sets you up nicely to go in any different direction based on whatever is on your agenda that day.
Anytime you shop for something that is in high demand, it’s important to move quickly. It’s likely that only a few condo units will be available in Sammamish at any one time, so you probably can’t afford to wait around while thinking about your choices. You’ll need to tour condos shortly after they come on the market, and you’ll need to be decisive with whether or not you want to make an offer.
It’s not often you can live somewhere which offers so much easy access to so many great places. Even if you have never before visiting Sammamish for yourself, you can simply look at its location on a map and understand why it is such a sought-after place. Lake Sammamish and all of the recreational opportunities it offers is just down the hill to the west. If you would like to head into Seattle for a sporting event or concert, you can head south to I-90 and be into the big city in roughly a half hour, traffic dependent. For those who prefer the mountains to the big city, pointing the car east on I-90 will take you up into the Cascades in very short order. Seemingly any which way you turn there is something fun to do and something beautiful to see.
If you have been hoping to live in the beautiful city of Sammamish, and you would prefer to live in a condo rather than a single-family home, do not give up hope. There are options available in this market, and while they might not be as plentiful as the single-family homes in the area, you may be able to land one with some persistence and the help of the right agent. Good luck!
